This intensive 3-week program introduces participants to the fundamentals of gas welding, focusing on the oxy-acetylene process. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, students will learn to safely operate gas welding equipment and perform basic welding tasks. The course is designed for beginners seeking foundational skills for entry-level positions or further specialized training.​

Participants will work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Safely operate GTAW/TIG equipment and adhere to industry safety standards.

  • Perform high-quality fillet and groove welds in various positions on mild steel.

  • Interpret basic welding symbols and blueprints.
